Refund Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

This Refund Policy explains when payments made to CompEat are non-refundable.

By purchasing a report, starting a paid subscription, or using CompEat’s paid services, you agree to this policy.

Refunds for Generated Reports

CompEat reports are created using data that is pulled, processed, and made available through the platform.

Once a report has been generated, no refund can be issued. This is because the requested data has already been collected, processed, and delivered for viewing.

A report is considered delivered as soon as it has been generated and made available through your:

  • CompEat account;
  • Online dashboard;
  • Email;
  • Download link; or
  • Any other delivery method used by CompEat.

This applies whether or not you subsequently view, download, save, or use the report.

Reasons That Do Not Qualify for a Refund

Refunds will not be issued where:

  • You change your mind after the report has been generated;
  • You do not view or download the report;
  • You no longer require the report;
  • You provide incorrect information when requesting the report;
  • The report does not contain the results you expected;
  • Publicly available third-party data is limited, delayed, incomplete, or unavailable; or
  • You cancel your subscription after a report has already been generated.

You are responsible for checking that all account, profile, competitor, campaign, or other information submitted for report generation is correct.

Payments After the Seven-Day Free Trial

CompEat may offer eligible users a seven-day free trial. Unless cancelled before the trial expires, the selected paid subscription may begin automatically.

Once a payment has been processed after the seven-day free trial, it is non-refundable.

A refund will not be provided because a user:

  • Forgot to cancel the trial;
  • Did not use the service after the trial;
  • Cancelled after the payment was processed;
  • Did not use all the available features; or
  • No longer requires the service.

Billing Errors and Duplicate Payments

CompEat may investigate a refund request where there is evidence of:

  • A duplicate payment;
  • An incorrect amount charged because of a CompEat billing error;
  • A payment processed after a subscription was correctly cancelled; or
  • Unauthorised use of a payment method.

Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund. Supporting information may be required before the matter can be investigated.
